Smile What tools do you use?

I'm just gonna start this thread cause I would like to hear what tools people use when drawing, painting etc. That could be anything from watercolour to photoshop.

There's off course already a lot of information about the subject out there, but it would be nice to hear from "normal" ppl (if I may call you that) instead of mad comic drawing pro's and ultra realistic painters

Mostly because there is a limit to how much I would like to invest on things I only use on a hobby basis. But besides that I am currently looking for a graphic tablet, and would like to hear what you have to say on the matter.

Oh and some of the old tutorials could use an update, most of them seem to have lost their pictures.

As for me, the only tool I used was ms paint. There is a lot you an do with the airbrush there. Mix the airbrush with other paint tools for sfx.

And some very nice things you made with it too.

Makes me think of http://www.mspaintadventures.com/ whenever someone mentions ms paint.

Not that it has anything to do with your stuff whatsoever.

GIMP. Before that, MS Paint and MS Photo Editor.

I like Paint.NET, but I never do art, just retouch existing images. GIMP seems powerful but I don't really use all those capabilities, and the software itself is a somewhat sub-par piece of programming. And I can't believe they're still labelling their x64 binary as "experimental"?!

Yeah I know it, but I haven't been actively drawing for a while, due too playing to much mmorpg.
Took away all the time I used to spend on other things.

Now however I have my spare time back, and will be taking up some of these old habits, such as drawing and playing way to many old games.

I just need to buy a halfway decent Graphics tablet. And I thought it couldn't hurt to hear what you guys were working with.

Well i have a Trust A4 wireless tablet (the tablet itself isn't wireless, only the mouse that came with it.)
It had a lifetime of about one and a half year.
It doesn't have any drivers for Win7.
