It's actually for a friend. He said

I remember as a kid in the 90s, scaring the crap out of myself with this horror point and click computer game, but I can't for the life of me remember what game it was. I thought it might be The 7th Guest or Phantasmagoria, but the images of those games don't look quite right... unless I'm remembering wrong

Some characteristics of the game I can remember:
- The game was played mostly inside of a house.
- I believe it was first person
- There was a computer inside the house, so it has a modern setting
- There's a barn or shed outside the house, and at least at some point in the game, a girl's body was laying up there.
- There's a road path outside the house, and no matter how many screens you go down it, you always end up back at the house.
- It had FMV sequences. Like at one point you video record a room (or find a recording of what's going on in there) and the room just starts filling up with blood or some liquid.
- I think there was a mine shaft or something like that setting you get to at one point in the game.

A game similar to it is called "Darkfall"

[One of the puzzles] The only one I remember is figuring out a combo lock on a door.

He says it should be from 1994-1998. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
