When I star Kings Quest 6. There is a message that says, "Unable to initialize your audio hardware." I can't seem to fix this. What do I do?

Im not sure if this is the way you have to do it but this is what I did....
First make sure you have DosBox, available for download here. If your not sure how to use it, theres easy instructions here. Once you have extracted the WinZip file, run install.exe using DosBox. You should end up with settings like the picture below. Other sound options also work, just play around until it sounds okay... Eg. IBM aswell as SoundBlaster should work. Then run SIERRA.EXE (through DosBox by dragging the executable of the game over the DosBox.exe).  |
