Hi!
I recently got an e-mail from the 4HAM Community webmaster, asking me if I want to use his forum as my own main forum. He would create a subsection for Abandonia, and then I would use that forum from now on. Since I cannot really decide what would be best, I think it would be fair if YOU voted out what seems like the most reasonable thing to do!

At the time of sending you the letter, I didn't realize you had your own forum or I probably wouldn't have even made the request. In any case, I think you've chosen the best way to handle the situation. I cast my vote, but the masses will decide this in the end

Whats wrong with our current forum? Its fast, reliable, and good enough. Ok, it would create publicity, but then we have the problems of potential firers, hackers and just unpleaseant guys.

ok, i would say stick with you're own forum.

4Ham is a good Forum in many ways but in all honesty as soon as you join the people vissiting there to talk about Abandonia will drift into the OT section and you will see a quite dramatic fall in Abandonia related Topics in you're own section. Disky is a great Guy, and i wont say a bad word about him but i cant realy say that joining 4Ham would be good for you guys at Abandonia. As a growing and bloody good site you shoudl realy keep thing closer to home so you can do and change what you need when you need to.

Since the forum is still up after nearly two months I guess you made the choice of retaining your own forum. I couldn't agree more. Activity is nice but this is more of a place for a casual visit rather then a place to hang out.

Also I'm sure some people like smaller communities, at least I know I do. It's sometimes nice to be able to get to know the people on the boards and also it gives me a feeling a bit like being on the good ol' BBS's (points to anyone who knows what I'm talking about).

Its also nicer when you actually get to know your visitors, than just have a bunch of unknown people whining about not being able to start game xyz

I think i like our own forum...its gives me a sense of security and besides from what ive noticed all people in our forum are nice. just scares me if bunch of new guys come what if they are rude? sigh!!
