![]() I'm having a problem getting Darklands to run on DOS box. These are my general steps:
MOUNT A C:\Users\Christopher\Desktop\Role-playingGames\Darklands\Darklands A: Install.exe During install, I select Drive A as the location I am installing from, and a location on C drive as the location I am installing to. However, no matter what folder I try to install it to, it gives me the invalid error. However, when I attempt to install the game to drive A, it accepts the location and then prompts me to "Please insert disk #1 in drive 'A' and press Enter." I am unable to get the installation to continue beyond that. What am I doing wrong? |

![]() To start with, you have not mounted a C drive. DOSBox can only access the contents of your PC's drives if they are mounted as drives in DOSBox.
Also, are you certain your copy of Darklands requires installation and is not a preinstalled one? |
