I'm too young to remember the USSR or two Germanies.

Computers I toyed around with as a kid are C64, A500 and A1200. Skipped the x86s straight to the mighty Pentium. I don't think I would know how to start Skate or Die on the C64 anymore. On the console side I have a NES and a PS2.

Best games EVAR in no particular order are: Pirates!, Civ, Dune 2, Monkey Island, Wing Commander, Sensible Soccer, Gold box games, Moonstone, UFO: Enemy Unknown, Diablo, Fallout, Planescape: Torment, Mario 3, GTA:VC and Shadow of the colossus. Anyone who disagrees has no taste

IMO you've got a fairly decent taste in games, especially when taking your age into consideration. Welcome!

Fun fact: UFO was the first and only game that ever made me skip school. I simply played it whole night straight so later I fell asleep when I was about to leave... sitting, with a backpack strapped on :P
