Default Hi Folks

Recently found DOSBox and having a great old time with alot of the games I had held onto. I am gratified that some of my old favorites that I can't seem to find anymore are being preserved. I knew the internet had a purpose but until now, I couldn't figure out what it was. :bleh:

Thank you. I had pretty much given up on the old DOS titles once I started buying the later generations of the Pentiums. I was helping my father clean out my Mom's "catch-all" room shortly after she passed away and found the old Master of Magic Strategy Guide underneath a book case we cleaned out and moved.

I put it aside for about a year in storage and rediscovered it the other day. I was actually searching the web for some way to get the parts to make a retro machine, say a 486-66, when I ran across DOSBox. Much simpler and a great way to slow down the machine to play some of the older games.

Welcome , maybe DosBox isn't cool as a real "retro machine" but it's a bless for Dos games: versatile, multi-OS, reliable...
