I am not sure if i even downloaded and started the game properly. I dowloaded the game (HIND) from the site as directed, unzipped the file and put it in my c: drive. I am not sure if there is an installation process needed or not. I switched my compatibility to Win95 since I run WinXP on my laptop. I am not sure what other information is needed in order to diagnose my problem, but please let me know and I will supply it.

The problem is this: I do these tasks in order:

Run Hind from my desktop or from the game folder by clicking on the main logo.

I click "FLIGHT" from the main screen.

I click "TRAINING" from the next menu.

I click "HIND CONVERSION" from the list, and then "COMMIT"

Then the whole game closes down and I get a FATAL ERROR window that says:

FATAL *** Cannot open: Load Variable Length File missdata/SARATT 01.dta (\library\os\file.c:751) @ 91.85

Any Help would be benificial. Thank you in advance for any assistance.
I think this game will be fun to play, but I am not very compsavvy, as you can see.

Sounds like a corrupted copy. Redownload and try again.

Thanks for the reply, I'll try and see if it works out.

Is there something that needs to be installed though? As I said before, I just downloaded it and it seemed like I could just run it (no installation necessary), or is that wrong? If so, How would I install it after it's saved to a c: drive file?
