I just downloaded and tried to install/run Transport Tycoon deluxe. I can't get it to do anything. I am assuming that since it says it's for Windows it should run without a third party program? I am using XP. Thanks for any help

Look at the Installation Instructions on the download/review page of this game, or in Readme.txt in the game archive

Me too-It can't find disk!

It says "In order to successfully start Transport Tycoon Deluxe
you will need to import the registry file in this
directory!" What does that mean? What registry file?

You need to run the .reg file then restart your computer.

Make sure you don't move or rename the game directory once you run the .reg file or you will probably need to run it again to make the game work.

It doesnt work for me and ive ran the .reg, restarted my comp and ran "C:\TTDX\Transport Tycoon Deluxe\GameGFX.exe" and it says Unable to access CD still..and the "C:\TTDX\Transport Tycoon Deluxe\Transport Tycoon Deluxe.exe" just opens a DOS window with some text in but immediately closes .. Please id really like to play this game again but i get a com port error when i use my disk

UGH i got a screenshot of the dos box that comes up.

"Unknown language "C" specified in the environment
variable LANG or LANGUAGE. Known languages:
English, Czech, bla bla bla. Use SET LANG=language to select the language.
E.g. SET LANG=french"

As the dos box closes before i can even read this, i dont know where i should set the language, i dont know why its set to "C" ... can anyone help?

Don't run GameGFX.exe - that's the wrong file. Run Transport Tycoon Deluxe.exe. Also, you will probably find the game has issues with saving when you start playing. To fix this, open ttdpatch.cfg and delete the line that says something about saving, I don't remember exactly what. All fixed.
