Luck only smiles once Works better as "suicide song" for me than its contemporary This is the last Sunday. I read the text as a personal comment (own translation, sorry) :
Luck only smiles once, Only once gives its hand. If you miss that chance Then you're doomed, youre gone, There goes your happiness And you could have it. And as for the performers - your bands from posts above sound like their musicians might have died/may die of drug overdose... the singer from my link died as 40-something of tuberculosis, shortly after the WW2 - thanks to being imprisoned by Nazi Germany and later Soviet Russia. |
