Geometry Wars Evolved
I downloaded this game from XBOX Live just before christmas and I have to say this is just pure fun, fun, fun! I can't remember a game from the last 10-15 years which gave me such an awesome "old-school-arcade-feeling" like in the old days. Having so much fun with such simple gameplay reminds me of old C64 times, when you played hours of River Raid, Falcon Patrol or Fort Apocalypse. The simpliest form of shoot'em'up but it just didn't get boring. Now with Geometry Wars Evolved this feeling got back to my tv screen.
I just sit there and start over and over again having a lot of fun. To be honest: For years I didn't believe there could be a game nowadays which transports the old arcade feeling in such a way, now I'm very happy!  Just wanted to share this feeling with you...
