Lots of interesting points! I think Data summed it up pretty well though. It's all about your ability to enjoy games now. My ability to enjoy games have gone down the tubes because of the many reasons already mentioned.
Now I need to go and learn about Beyond Good and Evil! I'm ashamed I do not recall that game at all!
