I was thinking it might be nice to have a forum for discussing new games. Do you think it would fit well with the forums Abandonia has now?

I think it's a nice idea as most of us are fans of games in general,not just old games, but new games are already already discussed in "Favourite Oldies" and "Blah, Blah, Blah" it is a good idea to create a forum just for this though.

Personally I would prefer those to be discussed in blah blah blah or one of the parts of the site already mentioned rather then creating yet another one. We have (too) many already.

start with a thread in blah,blah,blah discussing new games (similar as underdogs newest acquisition thread). If the thread gets out of hand we can still create a subforum in blah, blah, blah for discussion of new games...

I agree that we have enough new threads already, so why not talk about new games in this thread?

I will start:

Today I installed Sims 2, but I had some problems with running it. Can someone tell me is game get much better or is it just piece of crap as sims 1?

It looks better, at least it has point instead of just going on forever with nothing happening, children stay as children ands adults are immortal. In Sims 2 you have to reach aspirations (like falling in love or painting a masterpiece) to get "aspiration points" which you can spend on special items.

I got it also now (sims 2 )

But my Cd-rom keeps slicing at the cd so it wont startup...still trying to find a solution for it..

Btw: I love the game you can do when the installation is going on...for the first time i saw something like this :ok:
