I loved the games series on C64, and I wish somebody made a good remake of the games series :). And even perhaps put the sid music in :)

(yeah ok I am a real retro lover :D)

Playing with 8 humans alone is terrible
And figure skating etcetera stinks indeed, can't even control them
But a very amusing game

Played this a lot on C64! But the CGA graphics is just ...

It could be a good old conversion of the C64-game, if it would have EGA-graphics.

C64 version is better :bleh:

BTW, the links to California Games 1&2 are broken in this review.

God I remember the graphics alot better than this when I played it.
Anyway it's still a pretty funny game when you fail at the triple lutz, plant your face on the snow when you hot dog....etc :bleh:

Wow, I haven't played this since I owned an Amstrad 1512. Great days <looks at ceiling and drifts away ... />.

I seem to remember playing another version of this game when I was a kid, we had it on floppy disk. It was about the same, and also called Winter Games, but it looked better than this one. I can't seem to find anything about it on the internet, though. Have I just dreamed this or does anybody else remember?
edit: alright, now I feel stupid. The one I remembered was right there on the page, and it wasn't even called winter games...still, "the games- winter challenge", it was close :D
