Well hi guys i need help with my new web site because i am about to get yahoo geocitys but i need free ftp hosting i haven't signed up yet because would it be better to go to a place with free hosting thatwill hold downloads because it shall be an abondonware site

Why not look down a thread or two? It might actually help you. Its this amazing ability called 'Looking at other threads'.

Theres also another one called Grammar. It involves capitals, spaces, full stops and commas.
It gets you even more help.

Abandonware sites get frequently shutdown. Read the Terms of Service before putting up anything like that.

Another thing you'll need will be high bandwidth, if you use it all, your website could be offline for most of the month.

Also, do you know (X)HTML? If not, it's going to take you a while to learn it.

okay i shall start to learn html when i can and post update when i know it folks this may take awhile because i am very busy at the moment

You might as well learn XHTML now, HTML is getting outdated.
