Hey guys. How yeh all doing? Anyways, I thought i'd bring up a few questions, since i'm not fluent in this area of tech. I was at a yardsale, and they were sold out of pretty much everything, except this old CB Radio (Guy says it still works, though I dunno yet)

I had a few questions if you guys know a lot about CD radio systems. First of all, its one that went in a cop car, and the connection for wires is something I know nothing about. I was curious if the wires (two of them, one red, one black) could simply be cut, and bound to a 2-wire adaptor, for home use? Also, if I can get power to it, are there any sort of things these radios are capable of, other than listening in on other frequencies, and communicating? (it still has the handheld walkie-talkie part)

I used to have one in a Suzuki SJ413 jeep I had (wow, two posts in one night about two different car's I've owned...). I hardly ever used it except if travelling on the jeep, so if you're not going to be using it for similar things I wouldn't pay too much money for it.

About the wireing, I don't know as I had the damn thing fitted in for me (couldn't plug it in the lighter plug since all the interior had been ripped out to lose weight).

Hmm, I guess I could look it up online somewhere. Heh, and I didn't pay too much for it, just $0.25, the guy said no one would buy it, so he basicly gave it to me hehe
