What system is better? Like in Fallout, Diablo or D&D (memorizing spells for one day and remembering them after rest)? As for me, last thing is quite strange. Why mage forgets spell just after using it? Maybe question is a bit incorrect, but try not to compare, what game is better. Pay attention to RPG system only: combat, spells (if they are) and so on.

I prefer to have as much say in the character development as possible, and that's only possible in the Fallout style, so that one.

I would say SPECIAL(too lazy to write those .s)
because its many stats but stays easily understandeable, but i prefer improvement based on performing activity, not adding skill points |
I'd say it's AD&D 2nd edition for pen&paper, but for games, special is the best system probably...

I will still vote for SPECIAL for the sole reason that I have a copy of SPECAL at home, but not of DnD (it's far too expensive! ) (and the fact that fallout is the game of all time helps too) |
Well, Diablo is the most fun, so I said Diablo. :bleh:

This is an easy one... wait... no Deadlands? Oh, I'll write in vote for Deadlands.

It's a really nice joke when you say it's a nice joke because Diablo has kept me busy for 4 years while I played Baldur's Gate for a month. It speaks for itself. |
I like the Final Fntasy turn based system for combat, and stat building that actually effects your char, like in Might and Magic.
