how do I use it with daemon tools?
its not an image file

Of couse it is one, it's just compressed in the .zip-archive, and in the folder in the archive is the actual ISO-file. ;)

whats the name of the ISO file?

It's ecstatica.iso . If you have Winrar installed, it has the symbol of the .rar-archive - don't let you be fooled by that.

I have a question about pure DOS. Can I burn the ISO on CD and install and play
the game normally?

That is the idea.
The others are trying to emulate that idea.

I used to have a normal archive file of this game. Want me to dig it up? It takes away the annoyance of the .ISO
