Hi Guys So do You Play Runescape I Do :ok:

I play quite a bit though not recently as much as I use too. Its a pretty fun game they have been updating it alot.

I used to play it sometimes, but I haven't for months :(

This thread topic has been done more than a Diablo clone...

EH, anyways. Nah, I don't play it, and it's not the graphics either. I always hear from seasoned players that it's slow, dumb, and basicly a chatroom with something to watch and click your mouse on.

Runescape is crap compared to Tibia, but I wouldn't recommend playing either.

NOPE.

Runescape sucks i hate that game that's not even an rpg for crying out loud.

I quite like it myself. And it is never told that it is completely free, it says all over the place that for some skills/items etc. that you have to be a member. And it doesn't really cost that much.

That said, I've stopped playing and I might go and see how much Guild Wars costs on Amazon.



Plus it's a hell of a lot better than the Adventure Quest rubbish, which is total balls.

I played RS for a while, I even paid ?3 for one month of subscribing to the game. I could just about put up with the mind numbing tedium (you must chop down 5000 more trees to go up a tree-cutting level), and I got to quite a respectable mining level, then the other thig got me. The way the game is full of illiterate people, spammers and complete and utter arseholes. Say if you're mining and a guy comes along with a rune pickaxe to mine the same thing as you, and is able to run around mining the ore from every single rock, including the rock you're minnig, beofre you manage to extract the ore. He'll carry on doing it until his inventory is full, and then you've got about 10 seconds to mine before he comes back from the bank and starts again. If you ask him nicely if he could please share the rocks so you could get something then he'll probably ignore you, failing that he'll laugh at you or make some snide comment. Then there's the ridiculous filter system, you can't say a damn thing (though it is fun testing it out, for about 5 seconds).
