The game runs fine but after the third mission it crashes. No idea why or anything. Can anyone help because I've been waiting years to play this game again.

There were several posts by people who had the same problem, but apparently nobody's been able to find a way to fix it so far.

It was mentioned in the Games discussion but there was no response - other people have had similar problems so I thought it would be reasonable to ask here.

did you try dosbox

That seems to do the trick but the sound is all over the shop.

Still one problem solved.

Try running the setup or install file of the game and select Soundblaster with default settings for sound source. DOSBox emulate Soundblaster and compatible even if you don't actually have a Soundblaster card in your computer tower.
