Reccomendation: The midi found in the game Turoid.

Another good one is Duke Nukem 3D theme. Its veery gunning. |
I like to collect NES midis... there'are some funny ones
|
Are MIDI's copywright protected?
|
Well, I guess if you make one you COULD protect it, but 99.997% of all made are not protected. You can find them all over the place for free. Trust me, if they were illegal it would be a lot harder to find them.
|
actually i dont trust you because if the piece of music is still within its copywrited lifespan they are subject to the laws the same as sheet music. the midis you find for free are often fan made as it were and get left alone the same way fan made remakes of games get left alone but as far as the law stands it is illegal. fan made games get left alone as long as people make no money from them (mostly) its sorta the same with midis. but they are still subject to musical copywrite laws.
you are obviosly new to the internet. if something is illegal that doesnt mean its hard to find. (depending on degree of illigality) |
I posted two topics with music from Betrayal at Krondor and from Hexen. Also I downloaded some great MIDI's of Bjorn Lynne. I have few of his great MP3's as well. In all, I like every MIDI's, that sounds cool. The most of them are in my collection of Guitar Pro tablatures.
