Couple of weeks ago, when i was searching something from the mall,i found the Civilization 2:test of time. I already had original Civ 2 so,i bought it.

BUT,when i installed and ran it,it turned out to be the ORGINAL CIV 2 with a really idiotic A.I. There was no trace of Test of time on the cd nor in the game. :ranting:

I know what you mean. I think it's just the same game (Civ2), but with slightly different graphics (the units seem to be bigger and somewhat animated right).

TheChosen 29-07-2005 07:48 AM

No,i mean THERE IS NO sign of tot in anywhere(exept the box-cover). Its just a normal CIV 2(Whit a A.I as intelligent as a boot)

Wow that sucks. Where did you buy it? The UK edition has a blue-cyan label disc with some drawings on it and Test of time written. None of that on your cd?
ToT is a cool Civ game, my favourite together with CivIII.

I bought it from Finland. It was a Ataris play4less series.

efthimios 29-07-2005 01:25 PM

What is written ON the cd?

Rogue 29-07-2005 02:01 PM

Can you scan disk?

Contact Atari?

TheChosen 29-07-2005 02:36 PM

Wait...il check.....

The following text are in the cd:
1.Civilization 2:test of time(with cover picture)
2.atari
3.Adobe acrobat
4.PCCD
5.Compact disc
6.play4less
7.copyright text

I dont know if atari wouldnt even care about it. Microprose is dead. No one cares about CIV 2 anymore(Expect those oldies in abandonia).

efthimios 29-07-2005 02:44 PM

Try to contact play4less about it.
If they refuse to deal with it, send me a scan of the cd and box and perhaps receipt and I could make an ISO of my cd to help you.
If Abandonia thinks this is too much please delete my message.
