i downloaded reunion and now i cant install it. when in dos box i type install and it sais that "install" is an illegal command or summat. please help me
This may be a stupid question, but have you tried simply running the game without installing it? Most games don't need to be installed in DOSBox...
i tried. i click on anything that could poss start the prog such as "start" the screen flashes black and then returns to normal windows.i once owned the game and this happened but i worked out how to run it, but that was with the cd.any ideas on whats goin on????
Ah, that might be the problem, then. You shouldn't be clicking on them at all. Start DOSBox and in the command prompt type "cd [name of the folder in which you put the game]" and then type the command to start the game (i.e. "start", or whatever it may be for Reunion.
umm.. dosbox also shorten names down to a smaller name(such as Reunio~1(might be something else))
Seven characters should still be OK. But even then, you could just rename the folder to something shorter (like 'Reuni' or something like that).
what you need is dosbox+d-fend find it with google, d-fend link is on dosbox site. enjoy playing the game =)
What you really need is to know what are you doing.
No front end will help if you don't know how to properly set it up, and how to use it. |
This may be too little, too late, but inside the Reunion.zip file there is no "install.exe" file. There is a "setup.exe," though, so you might wish to try that instead.

Can anyone tell me his experiences with running reunion, please? :help:
It's quite instable with VDMS on my machine and the DosBox cycles obviously have to be really high for fluent use. That'd be great! |
