Hi Guys,
I now have a DVD burner and a empty dvd disc. I'm exited as always cause I got this new DVD drive for my computer. I won't to burn latest movies and I know cause they are new they got all these good protections. So which methods and softwares do you recommend for me so I can burn these movies. |
Hello there.
i just hope these movies you want to copy are yours and illegal issues are not involved. anyway, the best program to break copy protections i know is Anydvd; there is an evaluation period of 21 days (i think) you should also check Afterdawn as they have many guides for as many programs relative to DVD and, you better get more empty DVD's - expect to toast a few before you get it right  |
Thanks Shrek. I'm going to check your things immediately. If you or anyone knows more don't hesitate to post. I would love to be burning king. I should have more empty disks after I get the hang of it. Thanks for the links
@Shrek: I guess you have the Shrek movie burned :D (just joking) |

Using Nero and there's no replacement. :ok:
Burned about 3DVD's, but I just started a few weeks ago... BTW the 4.7GB DVD disc can only burn less than 4.5GB, whats up with that? |
marketing
4.7 GB but those are in the 10 system ( 47000000 kbytes) reality/pc reality is 2 system 1 GB is then 1024 *1024 kbytes |
I have a few 100 (4-500 i think) DVD's and CD's here...
And guess what? All of them legal. We have a nice law here, that you'r allowed to make a backup for personal use. So every movie and program i own, i've made either into Images on harddrives or cloned/copied. I only use an original disk once. I EVEN got Atari to tell me how to beat the copy-protection on theire discs, so i could make an ISO of Civ3 + the expantions (was Civ3 Conquests that gave me trouble.) That is what i call good service :ok: It was either that, or i would have to go on the net and download a pirated copy of the disc i own... Seems stupid to me, and apperenty to them also. Used Nero for BURNING along with Clone for those sencitive cases. |
my dad rents then copies dvds. He's now experimenting with compression techniques...
|
And i re-encode full movies for my cellphone..
It's working like a beuty. The phone can handle pretty severe DivX and Xvid compression, so a full movie in the maximum resolution ends up around 100 MB.. concidering 1 GB space.. that's alot of movies in my pocket.. |
DVDShrink is damn good!
