As may of you have noticed we no longer get postcount for posting 3xBlah, so I was wondering what are peoples opinions on the postcount in general.

A little, but I can do without.

I'm curious as to why we do not...I mean, there just simply is not a whole lot to post about in the other sections. For those who DO really care about their post count, now they will either just start posting requests like crazy, or go to the general info forum and do it there. I think this is to make so SPAM doesn't add to count, but I don't think this is the way t go about it...

It'd be better if the post-cards were taken off permanently. Who cares now? It's already been done... :whistle:

Post count doesn't matter, end of discussion. The only real use of it is being able to differentiate a newbie from a long term poster on the board.

I strongly beleive that if you are here only to increase your postcount then you are not at the right place. This forum is only an extention of http://www.abandonia.com/index2.php and thus is dedicated to old DOS games. By default, if you don't like old DOS games... I'm really wondering what you do here. ;)

BTW, I myself belive that postcount doesn't matter, even though I look at it sometimes, but that doesn't change my attitude tawards the person.

I only care bout our post count title thingy, I like being a forum hobit :D

Alright: I am a smallminded, egotistical maniac and the only thing that makes me happy is the postcount because it makes feel a bit better and raises my self esteem because I have no life and am a complete loser, and this type of petty competition is the only thing that keeps me going.
