has anyone else seen this? It's kinda funny cause Cruise kinda laughed at first when the water first hit him in the face. Then he bacame al serious. I actually thought he might clock him.

How would you have handled this situation? Personally I think Cruise handled it very well, if not a little too prema donnaish.

ugg....I actually felt embarrased watching that. :tai:

I think tom was being a little too ridiculous and the guy who squirted him was being a jerk, though. I probably wouldnt have handled that very well, but I'm sure It could have been done better.

I'd make a comment like whatever, and leave...

It's very uncomfortable to watch. I agree, but Cruise did good to confront it, and engaged the guy. From what I've read and studied about scientology this is very important to them,. I think he was really going deep into the guy asking him why he did it, and making him uncomfortable, and as soon as he felt he had him he started the "your a jerk". It just shows how much he was hurt, and how big a celebrities ego can be. If you look closely at the guys mouth as he turns away you can definitely see that his lips are pursed, and he has kindof a sad expression on his face. I doubt he expected that reaction from Cruise.

Yeah. Tom did do good, now that I think about it. It was just that the really soft, slow repetitive way he said it made me feel really uncomfortable. But that IS scientology: a good tactic. Make them feel like they did wrong, instead "man, I got him good!".

Way to go Tom!

Tom acted correctly. The people around him however, did not!

"Hey lady, I am trying to be serious with this guy, and it is very difficult when you showe a towel in my face. It was a tiny squirt... it demands 1 minute of sun to dry off. What it DOESN'T need is a 3x2 m sized towel! And excuse me, Mr. Bodyguard, why are you trying to block that camera off? I was squirted in the face with water, and I am talking to the guy who did it. Let the people know. It won't hurt anyone, except the guy who will learn a lesson."

It was just a deliberate plot to squander precious minutes of airtime from the local Eyewitness news. The local news station has enough to report these days, what with all the planes vanishing every other day.

OR, perhaps water damages his makeup, and underneath his makeup he looks like Palpatine, or something.

If you were marrying Katie Holmes you'd want to look your best, to be fair.
