I remember Toonstruck, I bought it 6 years ago fot ?2.99 (5 Euros) so I would be surprised if it wasn't abandonware now. It's brilliant game though and the characters were exellent.

I like Manjac Mansion and Monkey Island Parts too, but my favourite adventure series are the Kyrandia games - my first game was Kyrandia 2 - Hand of Fate, and I also like fantasy games more than any other

Personally I will have to say that two adventure games ring for ever in my head as the best I have ever played.

The two are Broken Sword 1 and Gabriel Knight: The Beast Within.

Both of them were excellent at the time they were released and both will have you occupied for a long time.

Why would anyone choose Police Quest? It is arguably the worst adventure game series made by Sierra.

Not for someone who likes police work. Police officers simply love this series. 8)

It all comes down to each individual's taste.

I loved the police quest series. From 1 to 3 anyway. I grew up with them I suppose, and I used to play all the quests with a bunch of friends which increases the nostalgia for me. Damn, I remember all of us trying to figure out what to do next. It was like a circus ;)

Yeah, I remember those days too. Sometimes it got so crowded that you had to beat the other guys away, just to get to the keyboard. And of course all of them would scream out their ideas on how to solve the next riddle.

Those were the days

Quest for Glory 1 - best adventure game of all times - no doubt about it.The following ones began to decrease in quality sadly :(
I have voted for "other" since QG1 is not on the list 8)

For me it's QG1 as well. I might be one of the very few people that actually liked the remake.
