How long does it take to add a sented game in Abandonia?

depends what mood the updaters are in, and how much else you send - if there's a review, screenshots etc it's much easier to add it.

First off - as soon as you add a game you need to tell someone about it.
It helps if the game is reviewed (even more if the following questions are answered: Who produced and who published the game? Which year? Is the game WinXP, DOSBox, VDMSound compatible? Does it have a multyplayer option?)
If you have any suggestion for the ALSO TRY links.
Then the game needs screenshots (also a title shot and one for the news).
Now comes the big question: IS THE GAME UPDATE SAFE (no ESA protection and not sold anymore).

After all this is done it's up to the updaters. Sometimes we have games lined up, other times we can't find a game and need to do a quick review ourselves. Also sometimes we are trying to go for a certain game or a category (so if we're looking for a strategy it's less likely that a puzzle game would be added instead).

At last it comes down to the personal taste also (at least with me). If I dislike a game I won't update it if I have an alternative game prepared.

Oh, and it usually helps if the game is off the NEEDS A REVIEW list (since those games have been waiting there for a while).

if someone suplies a game with screenshots and a review, but one or more of those are not up to the standard, what happens?

Well they usually get altered a bit and updated (unless it's complete rubish - which it usually isn't).

the review will eventually get grammar busted by the squad anyway, or if you want to send it to us before submitting it we'll take a look if we get the chance.
