when i try to run GL Quake it says its missing glide2x.dll, can antone get me one? its not on the cd!

glide? Don't you need a 3DFX Voodoo series card to use glide?

No, Q1 runs great in 3d accelerated mode on modern cards, instead of Hexen 2 ,which made on same engine.. You could download glide wrapper (glidos for example)and take glide2x.dll from there .

but if you play it in software mode game is (cane be) much brighter. and you can actually see the monsters.
