I just bougth a copy of Robin Hood - Legend of Sherwood. It was one of those "sold-out" bargain games. But I can't seem to install it. The installer always freezes. I'm thinking maybe it's because I'm using Win XP Pro with Service pack 2?

Has anyone else had similar experiences with it? I mailed their support 4h ago but I've yet to receive an answer... :cry:

I have XP pro and service pack 2. And Legend of Sherwood installed.

I could not install it on my old machine win98se, it came up with a cryptic :
"Language corrupted unable to install".

To be thorough I tried it on this machine, and of course it worked.

The support consisted of a lot of "did you put it in the drive... etc.
Possible usefull suggestion:
Copy the CD to a directory and try to install it from that.

Did you say you mailed their support 4 hours ago ?
Perhaps give them a chance to read it.

I found the source of the error. I'm running Zone Alarm for my firewall and the game doesn't like it. Shutting down Zone Alarm made the installer work fine. After it's installed it's ok to have Zone Alarm run at the same time as Robin Hood.
