Access denied when clicking on download links
 

Hey guys, getting accessed denied for every game I try and download. I've obviously registered - what am I missing here?

There is no such things as "access denied" on Abandonia and registering to the forums is certainly not required to download games.

Could you please be a little more specific? A screenshot would also be nice if you can provide one.

Can you tell us which games you are encountering this problem on?

Access denied
You are not authorized to access this page.


and I want to play the Carmen Sandiego games

I heard internet traffic is kind of slow this holiday season. Could you simply try refreshing or hard refreshing (CTRL-F5) please?

We don't know what this problem is about but right now I'm guessing that you get a random error because the page fail to load.

Are you sure you are clicking the http://www.abandonia.com/themes/abandonia/get-it.png icon and not an advertisement placed below it?

Just out of curiosity... We're not talking about the ISO Cellar here? Because if it is the case it would make a little more sense to why the first user said he did register to get access.

He wouldn't be getting a message like this if it was ISO Cellar.

Inside the ISO cellar, no. But all the download links are external to this site, right?
