DOOM 3 BFG Edition
Anyone pick this up today, besides me?
The PS3 version, to me, is literally a wish come true. I had been waiting years for the DOOM games to come to PS3. It seemed so unfair that XBOX gamers were able to enjoy DOOM while us PS3 geeks were stuck with Wolfenstein 3D (not to say it's a bad game, I love it). Also, I believe there may be a digital download version on the PSN pretty soon. If so, I'm gonna buy that as well so I can keep the game on my PS3 hard drive. Although I do plan on getting it someday, the PC version is not a priority to me primarily because of all the copies of DOOM, DOOM II, and DOOM 3 I already have for that system. But hey, I always could use more copies of DOOM :P |

Also, I tried online co-op in Doom, and it was laggy as hell, hopefully it isn't a persistent issue |

I haven't been able to play online anything yet because no one joins my games, but hopefully that will change soon... |

Co-op is fun, but telefrags are rampant
Also that damned Industrial Zone... we spent far too long there. |

I actually spent the last half of that place trying to get to the secret level. Industrial Zone IS where you access the Wolfenstein levels... |

I tried to get the Red Key... turned out after going through the teleporter in that room, you needed to go through the one right behind where you land. |

When I say that though, I don't want EXTREME changes made. I tried to get the Red Key... turned out after going through the teleporter in that room, you needed to go through the one right behind where you land.[/quote] I saw you do that, I'll make a note of it when I do my 1P runthrough... |
So the Doom Classic collection came out on PSN today, it has the Master Levels and Final Doom included, but there's no word on whether they will bring these to the BFG Edition or something.
