Spam is annoying and happens to be not allowed on this board. We make an exception for this in the blah blah blah forum. The rules there are a little more lax and we will even allow a complete spam topic every now and again. But only ONE and ONLY now and again. Do not exploit this privalige.

No not yet anyway. All spam topics will be closed eventually though but go on for the time being.

maybe it would be an idea to just delete a spam topic when it has outlived it's usefulnes.

that way nobody benefits from it.. Some people consider a high postcount to be a benefit

Is there a way to delete a entire topic (option for admins) because I only know the way with delting the posts one by one :sick:

yes we can delete threads at once.

Can we not delete the old spam topics? They don't take up much space (one word posts) and they sink to the bottom quickly (even useful topics can end up on the third page in a day or too).

ill sugest a forum cleanup. Especialy in the blah-blah section

But that would take away some of the valued history of Abandonia! I remember when I first joined and I went through the old topics to find out about Abandonia's early days. Plus, if all the old posts are deleted, then all our postcounts will suffer (really want that Abandonia Homie title :cry:).

Just don't rush with clean up. Hate when I look for single post and can't find it.

As for spam topics, I agree that they should be closed, and purged, if space is needed.
