Well, seeing as I'm new, I figured I'd introduce myself!

You can call me Ren. I was told to come here a few nights ago by a (obviously awesome) friend, and I finally checked it out-- and, with my jaw dropped, wondered how in hell I hadn't discovered it YEARS ago.

I'm 20, but to the chagrin of most of my gamer friends (all being around the same age and generally typical console gamers), I'm an adventure gamer. I mean, I like most games, I'll play what ya give me, but my passion is adventure games, a dying breed. I usually end up getting, "OOH! A GIRL GAMER-- oh. ADVENTURE games. Pff."

It gets boring.

So, I figured I'd join the forum, make new friends, actually have good discussions on games I enjoy!

Nice to have you in the forums Ren! Girls are always in short supply around here so I think I speak for 92.5% of the users when I say that your presence is greatly appreciated :D. And adventure games are awesome... don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.

I'm happy for such a quick and warm response, I think I'm really going to like it here! I've been browsing through some threads and I think I'm going to get along just fine.

Welcome to the forums! Here you will not find yourself ostracized due to your love of adventure gaming, because there are a lot of adventure games lovers here.

And yes, if you can stand the craziness, you will get along just fine :p

Cannot stress enough how awesome this place is, I can only hope to contribute something soon enough, I'd love to be able to help out.

And regarding craziness-- I do Rocky Horror Picture Show and go to punk rock shows. I can handle craziness with grace, haha.
