don't use rapidshareeeeeeee they delete stuff with no warns. and you have to wait ages in order to download anything multiple in a row

in other words, horrible file hosting service

I got files on rapidshare since more than three years and they are still online!
Multiple downloads are easy to handle if you are using a download manager like JDownloader (without it 4shared would be hell), even if you do not own a premium account. IP renewing will work as always as well.

I can't get these people yelling at Rapidshare all the time. It seems they just do not know how to get the best out of it...

no it will not. it's only you who are lucky to be on dynamic ip...

never use rapidshare, they delete all the packed games, no matter if freeeware or abandonware, they see a game they delete it. and seriously, those wait time restrictions are horrible. also, i laugh at your face for having a premium rapid share acc=P

All my RS.com Files are abandonware and most abandonware i download is hosted on RS.com as well.

Like I said: Use JDownloader and there won't be problems anymore. Even with a static ip.

Simply not true. Why should they care anyway? RS.com is deleting files if someone is complaining an abuse. No matter what file it is.

I just wanted to show you that there are possibilities for everyone to use RS.com without having trouble. Obviously you are not interested in that but it is your own fault then, not RS's.

about the jdownloader- wow thanks, i tried it and it actually doesn't make you wait before downloads. i don't know how is this pissible but it is. i guess anybody who puts up a download at rapidshare should link to this program as well

but in any case, i'd still prefer using other hosting services. because using a 3rd party "hack" program for "free" hosted files is still more complicated than simple good really free file hosting. and what if rapidshare fixes their security issues once?
