cant run amulets and armor multiplayer!

hi guys!
i got amulets and armor, it works just fine on single player, but when i try to open the IPXDRV.EXE or run the network game from the SETUP.EXE i get weird error which is
title - "16 bit MS-DOS Subsystem"
"The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction" the next line is few random hex numbers like this "CS:0000 IP:0077 OP:f0 37 05 0e 02 Choose 'close' to terminate the applicaton"
then i got "close" button and "ignore", if i click ignore this message pop up again, i can do it few times and then it just close

i've tried to run it with DOSBox and i also getting an error which is
"IPX not detected" and the next line is
"Divide error" then it just quit it back to the DOSBox console
any idea how can i solve it? thanks for the helpers!

before playing an ipx game via dosbox you have to type
ipx true

then you and some of your buddies have to enter this in order to start the server:
ipxnet startserver

to connect to the server you write:
ipxnet connect [server ip]

If you are running Vista 64 bits then it is no wonder you are getting this error. Vista 64 bits can't run 16 bits applications (like those made for Win 3.11) at all.

I don't see what that change. The game itself might not be 16bits, but old programs often called upon other .exe files when it was time to go multiplayer. Dialers could be such programs.
