I think we tried an Abandoina IRC channel in the past but it didn't work as there weren't enough people.

I myself hate any form of chat unless there is an obvious reason for talking. Talking only for the sake of talking on the web is really stupid IMHO, and I don't see how we could communicate better with the use of mIRC. We already have this board, the shoutbox, and if we need something a little more real time then I beleive most everyone on this board also have MSN Messenger...

I agree completely to the post before me. Shoutbox is actually fine enough, also almost all of the users here use the MSN, so why mIRC yet...

Any IRC-chanel is all to easily turned into a warez-trade place..
We won't support it, not accept it.
If it uses Abandonias name, we will close it down in one way or another.

This issue has been dealt with before.. sugest you Search for it...
