Drug Lord
I'm sure someone here has played drug lord, drug lord 2 and so on...
Does anyone know of any knock off or simalar games? |
I'm not familiar with the game I must admit - is it one of those online browser games? There's quite a few games with that name including a very old DOS game.
The only gangster game I've really enjoyed is Gangsters: Organised Crime. I don't recall it featuring drugs though ;). |
Yep I used to play those games all the time so I know two exactly like them:
Dope Wars and Drug Wars: Underworld |
Its a wanna-be browser game, there have been so many knock-offs and knock-on's for it I can't list them all.
I'm searching for a special one to take residence in my hardrive, prefferably the one that has the most options. Most of the organised crime games made were junk though, truth be told, its sad really. I think its hard to find any game wether interactive or simple format in the modern market that presents itself wholly as a challenge or offers options that are unique or aren't generalised. Most of the games I see on the market anymore are clones of older games, (a few of you probably feel the same way), my brother and I played when we were children, the 90's, there's something I'm glad I can't remember... Aside from that I think its a true shame that so few games produced these days offer a real AI challenge, or have actual "gameplay". Graphics makes money sure, but if I wanted eye candy I could hit the local 7-11 and pick up a porno mag, eh, sorry to ramble. |
Isn't Drug Lord that game you could play on your graphing calculator?
And Acethor, Steam is cool. Don't diss it. |
Ha. You in one army. :p

Don't know about you, but Steam (for me at least) updates real fast, gives me good FPS and it doesn't give me lag even on servers with more than 300 ping.

Real decent of you to bring your argument here to my post, since you've been so kind.
I'll retort for the sake of argument, Steam does suck, its a terrible platform that requires nearly specific hard ware to utilise properly, its slow, it generates errors out of thin air (woah its like windows huh?!) however it does have a wonderful insight into how one could build a better platofrm with more effort, also, did you know steam, is debating wether you should pay them or not for the use of their services? Have you ever looked at a message board regaurding all the function errors for steam, endless waves of emails and blogs and so on, steam is junk, I might as well shove a stick into my computer and try to attach the stick to the fucking stick hanging out of my modem. What rubbish, where's the off button on you? I refuse to any longer participate in this drivell, yet another scrapped post. |
Heh. I've never had any sort of problem with Steam myself.
