Mouse is slow when I drive over buttons

Hello Abandonia team and all members!

I found this site some months ago and Iīm very happy that I found it. So much oldschool games here to find for free!

But I have a problem since some days and I donīt know how to fix it. Its about that my mouse (cordeless with wheel) lags when I drive over buttons and that makes the games unplayable for example Amulets and Armor, Red Baron and Panzer General.

I already found a good link here how to fix the mouse speed problem

http://www.abandonia.com/vbullet/showthread.php?t=6320

but the problem is that my mouse is fast now after I did like in the description but its still laggy when I drive over buttons in the game. It holds still for around 1 second before moving again to the destination I want. :( And the crazy thing about that is that a few weeks ago I didnīt had this problem but Iīm 100% sure that I didnīt changed anything on my computer! For example Panzer General. At the evening the mouse was slow but not laggy but as I played it the next day it was so laggy that it was unplayable!

Does anybody know how to fix this problem? If you need more details about my computer please tell me. Ah yes I donīt use DosBox if somebody thinks that. I canīt use it. But sometimes I use VDM sound like in Red Baron. But Panzer General I play without VDM sound or anything else.

Greetings. CSDanger

And that's your problem.

After all, they are dosgames. They were never meant to run in Windows.
