Maikel ripping off?
 

I've been playing Warioware game for GBA emulator recently. I didnt noticed it at that time, but I was just looking at the pictures when it hit me.

Here's one minigame from that game. Look at those characters. Recognize them from somewhere?

They do look similar. What is with these glasses-guys on Abandonia, anyway? I liked the alien it used to have. That guy on a wallpaper would be weird.

The current mascot was made by Maikel anyway, even if hired by Studentis, AFAIK?

Anyway I agree that it doesn't look like a smoking gun. You could probably find an even more similar drawing, and it wouldn't necessarily mean plagiarism.

Anyway, I just merely wanted to point out the similarities. However, I have this strange feeling that I've seen these things before the Warioware games. Could it be somekind of japanese thingie?
