Overseas reaction to Obama
 
I noticed that quite a few of yall are from outside the US. I would like to know what people in other countries thinbk about Obamas election as US presdident and why the reactions seem to be so strong.

Obama's a very charismatic person. We have yet to see if he's actually competent.

In Italy, the majority is happy about Obama... personally, I cannot have so much faith in politicians...

Amazingly, we've all been too wrapped up in our own election recently, where (I hope) we have a competent Prime Minister. However, there were a few days gap, and I think that most people here (in New Zealand :p) were happy to see a change.
