VDM help

Im a little slow today. I try to use vdm for sound but I see no run with option in my pull down. How do I run VDm with dosbox and others that run in xp so I can get my sound for these games. I love the 80's beep:thumbs:
Any help would be appreciated.

Which version of VDMSound have you installed on your system? I recall there is one that doesn't give the "run with VDMSound" option. In which case, you could still run it from the command line.

Also: DOSBox and VDMSound are two different programs. You don't need VDMSound to run games using DOSBox.

That's the thing - you don't.

Which exact games would that be?
Have you tried running their setup utilities to check if their soundcard configuration is correct?

look, you just install vdmsound on your computer, right click an excutable of the game you'd like to run and select "Run with VDM Sound" option

but i don't think that if sounds doen't work in some of your games that you'll be able to make it run in vdmsound. if i were you i'd fiddle with game/dosbox setup
