Avatar size back to 100x100
 

I've finally - FINALLY - found the setting for maximum avatar size under the admin controls.

This means 100x100 avatars can be used again, effective immediately. :D
Size limit same as before - that is, 30 kb.

So.. What was the PREVIOUS limit then??

Edit: Ehh, but why is my new avatar still 85x85, after all the trouble of reloading the pages (as usually) after uploading one? In My Account it's visible as a 100x100 one, but is shown here on posts as 85x85 :(

Damn, looks like the site is configured so that there's some kind of internal caching - which also automatically resizes the avatars to 85x85.

Didn't you yourself stated once in another thread that to change ones avatar you had to change it BOTH in the sites MyAccount area AND in the Forums MyControl area??

Since, to show it properly these two had to match and all..??

Also... How is it with the PoE bug??
Is there still a chance to loose all of them if one would change anything in the MyAccount settings??

As far as I can presently determine, the forum avatars are entirely ignored. The ones on the site are cached somehow, said cache automatically downsizes them to 85 px, then feeds them into a frame the forum code was modified to show instead of the actual avatars.

No idea if the PoE bug is still there.

i don't know where your admin panel is but maybe asking on durpal forums would help

It is. With today's six I would have 974 PøE. And still with the wrong face. Paying 968 PøE for an old avatar, getting nothing but picture upload work in my advert breaks of Spy Game - that's just not right. When does the contract with Studentis expire again?
