1. If a game has the http://www.abandonia.com/themes/abandonia/download.gif icon, click on it and then on http://www.abandonia.com/themes/aban...loadbutton.gif to download it.
2. If a game has the http://www.abandonia.com/themes/abandonia/nogo.gif icon, it cannot be downloaded. 3. We do not sell games. |
Greetings. I searched a bit for Space Quest on Google but I couldn't find any place to order it I fear. I did however find a complete remake made for Windows.
I won't be posting it here because it could be warez. I'm unable to verify it, sorry. Another good place to ask is probably the official sierra community forum. http://forums.vgames.com/forum.jspa?forumID=111 Try asking people here, perhaps Sierra has some kind of classic game pack you can buy. Kind Regards Nick |
If a game has the http://www.abandonia.com/themes/abandonia/nogo.gif icon, it means go look for the No 100 icon instead.

If you mean the "Space Quest Collection", it was an officially released "port" to Windows. (Actually not a port at all, just using a chopped down version of DOSBox to get the DOS game to run under Windows.)
If you found a place that has it for sale, I think everyone would appreciate the info (especially since we have to track any legitimate sources for the non-downloadable games on Abandonia). |
The space quest collection can be bought online@
terragame.com 621Mb, 19.99$ Demo available. Quote:

Would it be illegal for Abandonia to earn revenue by selling custom CDs, pre-burned, of abandoned games selected by users? For example, charge a fixed price, say $15, for a 650mb disc; leave it up to the user to choose how they want to allocate that 650mb, and then burn & mail it. This may be a good choice for people who are still stuck on slow connections, but I'm not sure how legal it is -- if the companies that made the game don't exist anymore, it seems like it should be okay.
With increasing bandwidth speeds and lower costs of hosting, this may be unnecessary, but it might be nice if the owners of Abandonia could be rewarded for the great things they've done. :) |
i'd say it's unethical
