Achtung Spitfire
I remember an old WW2-game (mid 90īs probably) in which you controlled german or allied airforces. Can anybody identify it?
- played from a birdeye perspective - at the beginning of each mission, there was a map screen in which you could decide where to fly or which target you wanted to bomb - you watched your flight group move towards your target on the map screen - once they got intercepted by the enemy, the game switched to a combat screen - then it became kind of a round-based strategy game - you could only move one airplane at a time - once you finished moving all your airplanes, the AI made itsīmoves - I remember red arrows displaying where your plane will be flying to (in the combat mode) - the game was in 2d - I played it on a MAC... I dunno if it was a Mac exclusive title or something |
