Why can't I post a new thread under game discussions?

I just signed up to your forums and website, however, how come I can start a new thread here, but not in the games discussion? I get a "You don't have permission" error.

I don't understand that.

Can an administrator or moderator look into the problem.

It's not an error.
Mere mortals can't open new topics there.
All the games that are on the site (even those with no download but only a review) have already their own topic.
It's to avoid spammy topics allover that sub.

Precisely so. If you want to discuss a game that isn't on the site, you're welcome to open a new topic in Favorite Oldies & Newbies.
