Metal Gear 2 - Solid Snake
 

I'd want to bring this to the Abandonia. Because its a little difficult case, Id want to make a little discussion first.

Several other Abandonware sites, such as the XTC and Underdogs, have this. It actually isnt a PC-version, but a cleverly programmed MSX emulator which runs the fan-translated MSX2. So, technically its a rom and emulator mixmash, but I'd still want it to Abandonia, because:

1. Most people have never played Metal Gear 2, since the MSX version was never released in States or in the Europa. Its also part of the offical MG-canon.
2. As I mentioned, other Abandonware sites have them. Why not us?
3. Altough there is a freshly translated Metal Gear 2 is available on the extra disc on Metal Gear Solid 3 Essentials, its not the MSX version. Its a remake for cellphones.

So.......please?

Metal Gear Solid 2 completely differs from this game...

I think we have some prior addition that also was a ROM/emulator mix and it passed.

I've played it some years ago, it was brilliant and addictive but extremely difficult to play (dumb controls & hard puzzles), the funny thing is that the boss had the same face of Sean Connery :laugh:
As you said it isn't for DOS, you need an emulator to run it, but I have lost it somewhere, let me search a little.

Edit: I've found it, I have the emulator + The first metal gear and the second.
