Diablo 2?
 

Just wondering if anybody still played? With Starcraft 2 coming out, I dusted off the ol' D2 CD's and thought about playing again multiplayer (BNet)

Also - a word to the Admin of this thread (5th, Midget, etc) - the description for this General Talk forum - is it supposed to be "multiplayer" and not "mutiplayer"??

Yes, I'm still playing it from time to time on Battle-Net, on Europe server. Isn't really that interesting anymore, though, since all people do on Battle-Net is rushing lvl1 characters through to Difficulty Hell Act 5 (for payment) and doing the Baalruns. Everyone has Annihilus'es, Torches and Enigmas, and there's no partyplay whatsoever, everyone is himself god.
Pretty boring, so it's more fun to play on your own through the game slowly or with few friends who share the speed and fun, if you have some, in a password-protected game. If you're playing on your own, a summoning Necromancer (skeletons, clay golem, revives etc.) is adviseable, since without support it can get a bit rough since patch 1.10.

On a side note, the moderator for this forum is Danny252, who wasn't online for a long time already.

I used to play multiplayer Diablo 2 in my school but it wasn't fun in the end. Everyone started cheating used trainers to level up their characters to lv.99. Battle.net is better but my account got banned then my friend borrowed my key. Don't know what he did to it proberly gave it to someone else.:doh:

I play D2 from time to time whenever I need an ego boost I log on and farm me some ears... ^_^

Im currently playing in the USWest server(East was better one)...
And I don't think it really were that much of Rushing and rushing.... sometimes its good to make characters just for looking how they fix our styles, or just to see how fast can you find runes and get fun at the "Free" games, dropping and quickly picking up your own weapons, having them rushing behind you.. LOL. That is funny!

So, lets try to make our own clan! What do you think?
