i remember about 10 years ago playing this game mechwar...or mechwarrior. it follows the same guideline is the current series of mechwarrior games, but this one was way better! i remember being able to go to the bar to recruit mech drivers to go on an array of different missions with you. i used to play this game for hours, but lost it somewhere along the way. ive searched forever for this game...please find it!!

:( it didnt work! said that the parameter was incorrect...i tried every executable file but no cigar...no batch files....you wouldnt happen to have a link for another version would you? (p.s. it was the first one you posted that i was looking for)

I know this thread is old but could someone tell of which games is talked about here??
Because of the sad Dead of the Underdogs the Links to the games do not work....

The games sound really interesting and I'm all into mech games so if anyone could tell me about that games I would appreciate that. :3:

You can find MechWar on many Battletech fansites, like here.

There is also another similar game called MegaMek, which you can find here (remember you'll need Java Runtime Enviroment installed to be able to run the game)
