Just a quick suggestion - I find myself trawling through the massive list of games available on Abandonia for real gems to pick out and play.. but it would be really helpful if there were some system for recommending games, other than editor ratings and 'popular' games.

For example, we could feature a game every week / month / ... as a recommended game to look at. Or you might ask forumers to vote on the best of each category. So you might have an "Abandonia Recommends" page that says, for example, Best humourous game: Discworld. Abandonia also recommends Hitch-hiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Monty Python.

I guess I'll wait to see what happens with the new version of the site, and then decide if I'm still too lazy to go looking for those gems myself! :bleh:

There is also the CLASIC GAME chategory (but the search filter won't single them out). It's all the games with the little stars by their name, but you have to go through the ALL GAMES list to see them (or through individual genres).
